Artist Eric Fischl stands near his piece "Tumbling Woman" at a preview of the new exhibition at the 9/11 Memorial Museum titled "Rendering the Unthinkable: Artists Respond to 9/11" on September 1, 2016 in New York City. The exhibition at the museum on the site of the former World Trade Center towers features thirteen artworks that were created in response to 9/11, including paintings, sculptures, video and other media. The show will open September 12 and run until January.
